The Home & School Association (HSA) is made up of dedicated, hardworking, and positive parents. Parents and guardians like YOU help us create our HSA. Membership is open to all parents and guardians, and we always welcome everyone’s opinions and participation. Throughout the school year, there are many opportunities to volunteer and many ways to get involved. Joining the HSA is the perfect way to get involved at school and make a positive impact in our community.
The HSA sponsors many of the activities that you and your children enjoy every school year such as, but not limited to, holiday parties, Boosterthon, the Mother/Son Kickball Tournament, Mother/Daughter events, children’s mass receptions, and faculty appreciation lunches. One of the biggest roles of the HSA is fundraising throughout the school year to give directly back to our school. These profits help purchase tools and resources that our children use in their everyday curriculum.
There are four general HSA meetings that St. Rita families are invited to attend throughout the school year. These meetings provide an opportunity for parents to hear important school information, socialize with other parents, listen to informational guest speakers, and have an open forum to voice opinions. In addition, members who are in good standing and attend the meetings will be eligible to win a raffle for a $500 tuition credit for the following school year. This $500 tuition raffle will occur at each of the four meetings throughout the school year. Parents of 7th grade youngest and only students will receive a tuition credit towards the catholic high school of their choice. Furthermore, children whose parents attend the HSA meetings will be allowed to dress down on a designated day after each meeting. Also, the homeroom with the highest percentage of attendance will receive a special treat that week.
