St. Rita School is having their open house January 11th. Tours will run continuously from 5 - 7 pm. Families may take a tour of the whole school, or the specific grade level they are interested in. If you are unable to attend our open house, please call the school office at 504-737-0744 to schedule a private tour.

School dismisses for Christmas break at 10:30 am on 12/20/17. There will be NO aftercare, please make the necessary arrangements to pick up students at 10:30 am on 12/20/17.

Come join us for an evening of fun under the lights of City Park. The St. Rita choir, cheerleaders, and Jr. Trotters will be performing on Thursday, December 7th at the Celebration in the Oaks at City Park.

St. Rita students participated in their first LEGO Robotics tournament on Saturday, November 19th at Dominican High School

Student presentation 1:00 - Parent presentation 6:30pm - Project iGuardian is focused on keeping children and teens safe from online predators through education and awareness. The project is an outreach effort to share information about the dangers of online environments, how to stay safe online, and how to report abuse and suspicious activity. In addition, the iGuardians ™ team is here to help kids stay safe online by providing safety tips, a number to call, and a website with links to more information and resources. Project iGuardian helps kids, teens and parents to be smart about online safety and stay safe from online predators.

Students will be off of school from 11/20/17 - 11/24/17. School resumes on Monday, 11/27/17. Have a great Thanksgiving break!

Students are off of school on Friday, 9/1 and Monday 9/4.

On Sunday, 9/10, the LAKOC will sponsor a Mother/Son Kickball game from 1pm-4pm. More information to come soon.

The World’s Finest Chocolate fundraiser ends Thursday, 8/31/17. Please turn in all candy money by Thursday, 8/31/17.

Family Day & Catechetical Sunday will be held on Sept. 24th. We will all attend the 11:30am Mass together. After Mass there will be food, games and lots of fun! Come on out for a great day with the family & friends!

Our 1st H & S meeting will be tonight (Wed., 8/16) at 7:00pm in the gym. It is a no homework night.
